Men rank saving for retirement as more important than women do, according to a survey from Willis Towers Watson.
60% of working men ranked saving for retirement as a top financial priority as opposed to 44% of women. Saving for retirement was the fifth highest priority for women surveyed, who ranked meeting daily living costs and paying off debt as top financial priorities.
The study also found 74% of workers say their generation will likely be worse off in retirement than their parents’ generation. And, 50% of workers plan to retire from their main job, but will keep working for some time until fully retiring.
